Meet Your Therapist

Rebecca May

Rebecca May is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Aroma Therapist, Certified Energy Practitioner, Sound Therapy Practitioner with a degree in Applied Science specific to the mental health field.

I like to call this being in harmony. Harmony with your truer self; in harmony with the greater good. Everything we do and who we are comes from within. Allowing harmony within body, mind, and spirit, that is freer from pain, stress, and discord allows us to express and send out more happiness, love and kindness. Like the waking vibrations of sound, harmony heals.

My mission is to provide my community with the services, education, and tools that anchor the greatest health and harmony at the local and global levels.

About Rebecca

I grew up in a family that focused on energy being a natural and known basis or blueprint of life.  As early as 5 years old I was learning to channel energy to improve and support life and healing. Psychology and Sociology have been a personal interest of study since my childhood. That passion carried into my first level of education and career focus. I have been working with adults in many ways, similar to life coaching, since 1998, to include being a crisis counselor with FEMA in several disaster events, supporting people through trauma and coaching them through the process of recovery. I have many years of experience working with adults who are neurodivergent and/or have been diagnosed with developmental disabilities, supporting and coaching them through life’s challenges.

Like many, the Pandemic lit a fire under me to dive more deeply into my beloved field of study-the mental health field. This allowed me to hone my well-practiced coaching skills with a top program in the field. This blossomed into the formal title of Anthropedia Well-being Life Coach.

In the 90’s I added to my energy studies by becoming a Reiki practitioner and a Pranic Energy practitioner, and trained in advanced meditation and intuitive studies. I traveled to Egypt and Machu Picchu in the early 2000s to round out my advanced intuitive studies. While in meditation in the Great Pyramid, I realized that I needed to become a Massage Therapist. This allowed me to realize my life long goal to open a holistic healing clinic where I could offer natural healing supports for the whole person: the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels of being. I graduated with honors and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2002. Over the next few years I became a Neuromuscular therapist and a certified Aromatherapist. I was drawn to Sound Therapy, which proved to be a profound healing tool in Holistic Therapies. There is a higher level of intuitive healing in the harmony of Sound Therapy that removes obstacles of human error. Sound Therapy brings the energy system of the individual into alignment and into harmony with the harmonics of Universe. It can have far reaching and profound results that blossom over time.

Presently, I pull from all of these areas to aid clients in attaining health in which the clients’ goals are the main focus. The focus can be injury treatment or balancing energy centers. It can be relaxation massage to assist in a client’s peace of mind or increasing range of motion to aid in a golf swing. Additionally the focus can be developing individualized aromatherapy formulas, or pointing a client towards the tools that help move them forward in life, such as Life Coaching.
On 12-01-2022 I opened Infinite Evolution Holistic Therapies, offering a wide range of healing supports for all levels of being. Infinite Evolution is in Old Town Florissant; a quiet, community built on tradition, that continues to grow with the cohesion of a small town. The space is beautiful, calm, serene, and has the warm inviting feeling of peace that only Feng Shui and daily can offer.

Introductions:
I went to school for massage therapy immediately following a trip to Egypt in September of 2001. I graduated with honors and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2002. I began studying Neuromuscular Therapy right out of school and working with a full load of clients early on in my career. I have added many modalities over the 18 years of my career. The most utilized are Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Lymphatic Drainage Massage. I began to study and then practice Aromatherapy in 2004 and found this to be a hidden gift and love.
